NEWS CENTER – The line of revolutionary people’s war that started in Bakur in 2012 spread along the border of Zap and Zagros. In this context, a revolutionary movement was launched on the line between Şemzînan and Colemêrg on July 23. The guerrillas carried out revolutionary operations by occupying the outposts under the leadership of commanders such as Reşid Serdar and Çiçek Botan. They were no longer using the “hit and run” tactic, but the “hit and stay” tactic and they were entering the cities. Hundreds of guerrillas carried out effective and historical actions, especially on the Şemzînan-Gever line.
The Turkish army used to build outposts as the main method to control the lands of Kurdistan. Especially on the border line between Bakur and Bashure Kurdistan, a police station or fortress was rising at almost every step. After placing hundreds of soldiers in these outposts, the state tried to establish dominance both socially and militarily by bringing their families to the cities of Kurdistan. The invading soldiers were monitoring even the smallest movement of the people from the police station 24 hours a day, bombing the civilian areas, gardens and villages of the villagers with their heavy weapons and waging a psychological war against the people. Many children, women and villagers were killed in the attacks made from the police stations.
The guerrillas, who are the self-defense army of the Kurdish people, did not turn a blind eye to these actions. One of the most effective actions in 2012 was the action against the Haruna police station between Şemzînan and Gever. The difference between Haruna’s action and other actions was that this attack was carried out sacrificially. The guerrillas who participated in this action took the risk of martyrdom. For this reason, the bond of comradeship between the guerrilla increased day by day. Feathered guerrillas, each from a part of Kurdistan, came together for the Haruna action. As part of the plan, the guerrillas launched an action against the police station at 15.00.
The action was organized in two ways. One group of soldiers would break into his dormitory, the other group would shoot outside. The aim of the guerrillas was to completely destroy the outpost and deal a big blow to the soldiers. At 15.00, both teams set off. The 8-man bouncer guerrilla team started the action. The guerrilla team, which entered the police station by destroying the guardhouse and nearby positions with their effective hits, captured the police station building, ward and casino in 5 minutes. The guerrillas, who searched inside the police station for 20 minutes, punished those who wanted to attack them. Simultaneously, they destroyed the guard and watch booths of the police station by hitting them. Also, 2 tanks and 1 panzer were destroyed in the action.
The Haruna outpost was captured by the guerrillas within 20 minutes. While 60 soldiers were killed as a result of this action, Ekîn Amed, Dinya Tilebyad, Newal Sîdar, Çirav Urmiyê, Karwan Gabar, Cuma Goyî, Aşîkar Bagok and Mordem Avaşîn joined the caravan of martyrs.
After the action against the Haruna outpost, some documents belonging to the Turkish army fell into the hands of the guerrillas. It was stated in those documents, “If there are several attacks, such as the Haruna outpost, we will have to withdraw from Şemzînan.” The guerrillas who carried out this action sacrificed their lives for ending the occupation of Kurdistan and for the free future of the Kurdish people.
