NEWS CENTER – I would like to start by quoting a book by a French author that I find quite impressive. Ettienne de La Boetie, a French philosopher, wrote in his book ‘Discourse on Voluntary Servitude’, which he wrote when he was a 22-year-old student; It encourages the public by emphasizing civil disobedience by touching the deep and concrete social problems of the question “How do people not only want to obey but also desire to obey, even serve”. It challenges power, state sovereignty and the system in the 16th century, when the capitalist hegemony has just begun to flourish.
At a young age, he reveals social problems, social action and the necessity of revolutionary action with striking sociological analyzes. The author, in his work; “If you didn’t, where did he get all these eyes he’s been spying on you from? How can he have so many hands beating you if he didn’t take it from you? Where did he get them, if not yours, with which he trampled your cities? How can you have so much power over you if it wasn’t given by you? How dare he go after you if he didn’t agree with you? What can he do if you do not betray yourself, if you do not become the accomplice of this murderer who killed you, and if you do not harbor this thief who plundered you? You give the seed of our fruits to cause harm. You fill and furnish your houses to provide goods for their theft… the moment you decide not to serve, you are free. I don’t want you to push him or upset him. But don’t just support it. That’s when you will see that it falls and crumbles with all its weight like a collesse whose base has been pulled from under it”, she says, almost sheds light on today’s social reality and what needs to be done.
EVEN YOUR MICKS ARE CONSIDERED ‘CRIME’
So, how do we explain our social stance and what should we do? Your children are seized before your eyes, your fields and houses are plundered, your village is raided, your family members are killed, your children are crushed under panzers, your houses are raided by armored vehicles and heavy weapons at midnight or in the morning. It’s not enough, your hair is being pulled out, you are dragged on the ground and detained with reverse handcuffs. Mountains and stones are set on fire in Kurdistan, trees are burning hot. Your forests, animals, plants and lungs are set on fire. You are not even allowed to make a press release. You can’t even have your wedding in your own language, your wedding is raided because you sing in Kurdish, everyone is beaten. It’s not enough on the street, Ankara, While everyone is singing in Izmir and Istanbul-Taksim, you are stabbed and thrown into the sea for singing. Young men are gathered in the garden of the police station and laid on the ground, torture sessions are held so that ‘Turk’s power can be seen’. Officers and soldiers rape your young girls. He is deceiving and spying on Kurdish girls with the promise of ‘marriage’. Prostitution and drug use are being developed in Kurdistan as a special war policy.
The road to your village is broken; does not do. Your electricity is cut off, no water is supplied. When you demand what is rightfully yours, you are penalized by filing for not voting for the fascist AKP-MHP regime. You don’t even have the right to speak your mother tongue, live or get an education. Native language is forbidden! You elect a political representative; they are prosecuted and convicted with false files by being dragged in prisons for decades. Thousands are deported. Your will is being detained, the people you have chosen are detained and arrested on a whim. Even your deputies cannot exercise their right to immunity these days. Trustees are appointed to your municipalities. You cannot manage yourself or your city. The torment of power hangs over your head like the sword of Damocles. He makes you a prisoner with the force of a soldier, police force. It leaves no space unoccupied. Your parks, charities, Your women’s institutions are being shut down and terrorized. It locks your thoughts, your language, your institutions. Even your gestures are considered ‘criminal’.
Thousands of your prisoners, your friend, your brother, your mother, your father are left to rot in the dungeons. Political prisoners who are imprisoned for 30 years are deprived of their liberty by being given disciplinary punishments for arbitrary reasons. Even detainees with cancer or on the verge of death are not released. All kinds of degrading treatment is given to political prisoners. Even 70-year-old people are handcuffed and led around courthouses. Our mothers are seen as the worst of pain. The bodies of their children are delivered in boxes. The heaviest pain ever seen in the world is inflicted on Kurdish mothers. Halise Ana, who lives in Amed, finds the corpse of her son, martyr Egîd, in a box in her arms. As Halise Ana is Kurdish, it is not enough to be left alone with the heaviest burden in the world. She is sent to prison with her daughter on the grounds of ‘membership in a terrorist organization’. It is used as a torture method to inflict indescribable pain on Kurdish mothers. Emine Şenyaşar is still seeking justice and the Saturday Mothers are no longer able to hear the voices of their lost children in Taksim.
IT WANTS TO TURN SOCIETY INTO THE STANDING DEAD
Your cities are being bombed. Your mountains, plains, crops and historical values are destroyed by bombs dropped from planes. There is no pasture left to graze and milk your sheep. I’m sure the Kurdish land is a restricted, private security zone. Being a Kurd is always governed by special denial laws. Mountains and springs open to tourists are forbidden to you. Even the price of an ordinary country tour is beating and insulting. Being a shepherd, being a patriot, even bread from the garden requires a price in Kurdistan. You are the people of a country thrown from helicopters and killed by bullets more than your age. We have not forgotten those who shot Kurdish youth and Kurds without saying old-child-women in the streets of Cizîra Botan, Nisêbîn and Sûr during self-government resistances, and those who said “Who will kill more Kurds tonight”. Those who organize organizations to erase the massacre from their memories,
Barriers are imposed on rallies attended by hundreds of thousands. When he feels like it, he detonates bombs with his subcontractor cells at a wedding house in Dilok, as in Ankara Train, Amed and Pirsûs rallies. It is killing hundreds of people and throwing it on a front organization like ISIS. He wants to magnify the fear and turn the society into the standing dead. The enemy wants to capture the brains and hearts, not the actual bodies. The KDP dynasty is organizing betrayal at full speed in Bashur. It builds roads, bridges, carries supplies, and provides all kinds of opportunities for the enemy. He confiscates the gas masks of the guerrilla. While they host Kurdish genociders in their glasshouses, they satisfy their desires with the satisfaction of implementing their dark and dirty plans.
The source of such genocide and violence is the fact of not recognizing the Kurdish people and the isolation and denial imposed on Rêber Apo, who represents the will of the Kurdish people. For 24 months without interruption, even lawyers are not allowed to meet with anyone. For exactly 24 years, the Imrali isolation system has been excluded from national and international law, and the law of genocide has been applied.
THOSE WHO CANNOT AFFORD THE PRICE DANGER THE BLACK OF CONSCIOUSNESS
In the face of all this, weak voices are considered a struggle. No one actually hears! A deafening silence, an unbearable silence! Nobody can hear anybody. The Turkish people do not understand, and those who do, prefer silence because they cannot afford the price. Everyone, Turkish and Kurdish, who stand against the persecution, whispers their pain to each other silently and says, I suffered a lot, too. The number of people who say me too, me too. It’s almost as if the savannah is retreating to its corner. However, those who cannot afford the price risk the darkening of their conscience and the loss of their dignity.
After all, even exercising the most natural rights is considered a great freedom. And finally, you have the bravest, valiant, invincible, warrior children who go to the mountains and fight for you. Your most precious ones, your most precious assets, the guerrilla, are fighting against the latest technological armed attacks of the age. He defeats the bombs raining down on him, the tactical nuclear weapons, by fighting heroically with the freest side of his mind, fighting with faith and hope. Resistance is rising in Zap, Avaşîn, Metîna, Xakurkê, all Behdînan, Bakur and Başûr mountains and Rojava revolution areas. As seen in the August 15 celebrations, the guerrilla is dealing heavy blows to the enemy, the fascist genocidal regime everywhere.
While every guerrilla joining the caravan of martyrs creates a great light, new freedom guerrilla fills the vacant positions. YJA-Star and HPG guerrillas protect the honor of the peoples of Kurdistan, Turkey and the Middle East. She is fighting to protect Kurdistan at the cost of her life, from the foothills of the Zagros to its peaks. Women from Kurdistan and women from the Middle East are flocking to the fronts and to the squares of freedom. It is certain that we are very close to gaining freedom in this time period when the Jin Jiyan Azadi rebellion broke out in Rojhilatê Kurdistan and Iran. Women are waving the torch of freedom around the world. In the mountains-cities of Kurdistan, in Afghanistan, the Middle East, North Africa, Europe and Latin America, women in resistance are at the forefront. Leader Apo’s ideology of women’s freedom, democratic modernity is trying to ensure the unity of forces. Everywhere, Jin Jiyan organizes conferences and seminars from the perspective of Azadi. The resistance Iranian and Kurdish women in the prisons insist on their cause and do not surrender. By risking death for the sake of an honorable life, she is displaying the greatest courageous stance in history by shouting freedom on the execution stands.
THE GUERILLAS OF FREEDOM HAS NOT SPEAKED THE FINAL WORDS YET
The regional reaction, powered by the Turkish genocidal regime, brutally attacks women. Efforts are being made to prevent the women’s liberation struggle with rape, assassination, execution and torture. The ideology of women’s freedom and the science of Jineology are becoming universal day by day. Women discuss masculinity, male-dominated culture and hegemonic powers, and male-dominated mentality with a more radical questioning. He asks for account, determines the radical methods of struggle for obtaining his rights, and takes to the streets.
Women who spoke, formed, wrote, struggled, tried every method without weapons, evaluated their revolutionary experiences at the last Lebanese Women’s Conference, and took important decisions. This strategically important conference of women revealed an important perspective for women revolutionaries and feminists all over the world. He took a decision for the physical freedom of Leader Apo. And thousands of political women have raised the common struggle for the freedom of the prisoners.
So, is this enough? The question of how we will develop the fighting line stronger still remains. The struggle continues. The freedom guerrillas have not yet said their last word. Women, young workers, workers, all revolutionary, struggling forces and the people did not say anything. In that case, the people should organize their revolt, develop civil disobedience, and learn to defend themselves by participating in the revolutionary people’s war, in line with “resistance leads to victory”, which the Oppressed and Berîtans have brought to the history of humanity.
